Do you need hotel experience?

No, prior hotel experience isn't a must. What matters is a friendly demeanor, solid German skills, and ideally some English. You'll get an onboarding on site.

What IT skills do you need?
+

Basic computer skills are enough. Most hotels use systems like Opera or Protel , you'll get a quick onboarding. For office reception, basic MS Office skills will do.

Are there night shifts at reception?

Yes, hotels also have night shifts (Night Audit). They're paid with the night bonus of €17.20/hr and are especially popular with night-owl students.
